We began, Joy and I,

structured as the formation of family

Rocky at best

Pressured and heated,

But malleable.

We were a metamorphosis, Joy and I,

 into energy of

            Patience

            Trust and Generosity.

Spirits tempered with time, Joy and I,

Chiseled our intentions to create

           Reciprocal

Timeless

Sister-love.

Forever remaining in my heart, 

Now in memory

Sparkling in glorious magnificence
