Our Nest
Woven by
children who clung to her words, taught and given;
by family treasures that invoked lifelong practices of understanding the power of stillness;
by healing hands that touched the cells of our souls;
and by Ancient voices and whispers that captured our spirits,
Sheltering us
through the countenance of her presence;
in worldwide ceremonies conjuring strength, healing, peace, and love;
by answering the call to share the wisdom given to her;
and by infusing us with spiritual guidance that encouraged us to fly.
Our nest, our refuge, our Ancestor.
